Short version: we collect what we need to quote your repair and get your vehicle fixed, we use it to do that job, and we don't sell it. That's the whole policy. The rest of this page is the detail behind it, written in plain English so you don't need a lawyer to read it.

Who we are

Valet Auto Group operates a network of automotive service brands: Hail Valet (paintless hail repair), ADAS Valet (mobile calibration), Estimate Valet (remote estimating), and Body Shop Services (our partner program). When this page says "we" or "us," it means Valet Auto Group and those brands.

What we collect

• ✓What you type into our forms — your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and whatever you tell us about your vehicle and its damage.
• ✓Photos you send us of your vehicle, so we can estimate the damage without you driving anywhere.
• ✓Job records — the estimate, the work performed, calibration documentation, and invoices.
• ✓Basic website analytics — which pages get visited and roughly where visitors are, so we know which pages are actually useful.

We don't ask for your Social Security number, and we don't take payment card details through this website.

Why we collect it

To quote your job, to contact you about it, to actually perform the repair or calibration, to handle your insurance paperwork, and to keep the records a repair shop is expected to keep. If you asked us for a quote, expect us to call or text you about that quote — that's the point of the form.

Who we share it with

Only the people needed to finish your job:

• ✓Your insurance company and adjuster, when there's a claim — that's the paperwork we handle so you don't have to.
• ✓A partner shop in our network, if your vehicle needs work another location performs.
• ✓The software we run the business on — our CRM, email, and scheduling tools — which store your information on our behalf.

We do not sell your information, and we don't hand your phone number to lead brokers or storm-chasing marketing lists. If you start getting spam calls after contacting us, it didn't come from us — and we'd genuinely like to know about it.

Calls, texts, and email

When you give us your number, you're agreeing that we can call or text you about your vehicle and your quote. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or just tell us on the phone — either works, and it won't affect the work we do on your vehicle.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses a small number of cookies to keep it working properly and to measure which pages people find useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and this site will still work. We don't use them to build an advertising profile of you across the internet.

How we keep it safe

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into our forms is encrypted in transit. Job records are kept in access-controlled business systems. No system is perfect and we won't pretend otherwise — but we limit who can see your information to the people who need it to do your job.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as we need them to honor our guarantee and meet tax and record-keeping requirements. Since our paintless dent repair workmanship is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle, keeping your repair record is what lets us honor that later. If you only ever asked for a quote and never used us, ask and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it if it's wrong, delete it, or stop contacting you. Texas doesn't require us to offer all of this, but we do it anyway because it's the reasonable thing to do. Email us and we'll take care of it — no forms, no runaround.

One honest limit: if you ask us to delete everything, we may need to keep the basic invoice record for tax purposes, and we'd no longer have the repair record needed to honor a future guarantee claim. We'll tell you that before we delete anything.

Children

This is a business for vehicle owners. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We won't quietly start selling your data and bury it in a revision.
